Medication dosing
Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Motrin (ibuprofen) are two medications that might help you relieve your child's fever, or minor aches and pains. It is important to not exceed the recommended doses of these medications. Whenever possible, choose your child's dose by weight. If you do not know a child's weight, dose by age.
Tylenol
Take every four hours as needed. Do not exceed five doses in 24 hours.
